Scope: Passivhaus Design, Extension, Total Refurbishment
Adding a new third storey and redesigning the internal arrangement significantly enhanced the house's usability and spatial functionality, accommodating our clients' diverse requirements.
Our team rose to the challenge by seamlessly integrating the new structure with the existing one. The substantial level drop inspired the enhanced multi-level design, maximising space utilisation while harmonising with the natural surroundings.
The design draws inspiration from the wooded surroundings, and the project's materials reflect a harmonious blend of natural elements. Blackened timber, white render, stone accents, and high-quality glass give the building a contemporary yet timeless aesthetic, creating a visual dialogue between the built environment and its natural context.
This new building epitomises contemporary living for our clients. By seamlessly integrating modern design principles with sustainable practices (super-insulated, high-quality glazing and using the latest energy-saving/heating insulations), we've crafted a home that meets their every need and exceeds their expectations.
With this extension, our clients can enjoy the benefits of enhanced living spaces without the upheaval of moving house.
